Inclusions refer to the internal flaws and blemishes indicate to surface flaws. The different clarity grades on which the diamond is dependent are F, IF, VVS1, VVS2 etc.


Color:


The color of the diamond refers to the presence or absence of color in white diamonds. A

diamond which is totally colorless transmits the most light and brilliance and therefore is the rarest to be found in the earth. The color in white diamonds is graded on an alphabetic scale starting from D to Z.

If the purity of gold is measured in terms of ‘Karat’ then the diamonds purity is measured

in ‘Carats’. This basically refers to the size of the diamond.
